I read ‘Windows of a Soul’ and it was really well written though it was a bit OoC especially the parts where the author used a lot of westernized depictions of what Japanese culture is like. It looks like the author didn’t really do his research but regardless, the story itself is a good, entertaining read.
As for the ending of Mai Hime, I was content I suppose. The show itself is an action/comedy spoof of another existing show so there were a lot of things that were expected such as the way the show ended.
This is perhaps one of the reasons why the director claimed to dislike the whole Mai Hime turnout and went with his original plan which was the Otome setting.
Oh well, either way, it produced such a lovely pairing such as ShizNat. =)

Windows of a Soul was VERY good, I agree. I read it about a year ago and it sticks with me to this day.

For me, Shizuru is the most awsome character in all Mai HIME. She`s just in silence all chapters, but finally says every single feeling of her heart. She`s gorgeous, beautiful and kind person with everyone, but for Natsuki is capable to kill and hurt if it`s necessary.

She`s the best *-*

I have just recently begun that fanfiction. It does drag along slowly at the begining but as you said it is addictive and I find myself tunning into it every free chance I get. All of you out there that like long fanfictions this is the one for you. And Im not kidding when I say that its as long as a novel. The author took their time and made each chapter long and worthy to read. Do yourselves all a favor and look it up. You wont be sorry. Especially if your a big Kaname X Momomi fan.

Ah! But they do get past all their troubles! Well, at least for a few episodes. They have trouble with Carmen again, and then this one chick named Jonica. Bleh.

I think I’m going to wait for The-N to air the episodes, instead of watching them in French. The lack of Mandy’s voice makes the episodes a little less magical.
