Heck, it's worth it to be able to head to Comike and Akihabara and walk 10 mins to a video store. I remember buying this chinese anime/manga magazine when I was a kid, damn, can't remember what it was called but that was my biggest fix, other than old robot shows from the rental store, and Robotech on TV, and praying for another chance to go to Singapore and buy SM CDs and bootleg posters from Orchard Road.
